A special day

Today is 28th October. This day is memorable for me because I started my first job on this day 15 years ago. I still remember that day vividly. I was waiting in the spacious office of L&T in Bakhtawar building in Nariman Point, Bombay. I believe that the office was on 8th floor. I was proud to be one of those elite Instrumentation engineers from a government aided college. Mr. Kudrimoti who was in HR welcomed us.

I was with 3 or 4 other G.E.T.s (Graduate Engineer Trainee). They were Prakash Ramachandran, Sujata Prakash, ??? Gupta. I and Prakash were assigned to electrical department and Sujata and Gupta joined mechanical department. I have no idea where they are today.

The journey began 15 years ago and I have come a long way. But 28th October 1991 will be always special for me.
