• You leave yourself an enormous margin of safety. You build a bridge that 30,000-pound trucks can go across and then you drive 10,000-pound trucks across it. That is the way I like to go across bridges.
• It's far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price.
• You only have to do a very few things right in your life so long as you don't do too many things wrong.

सध्या परिस्थिती अतिशय बिकट आहे. कधीही कोणाचीही नोकरी जाऊ शकते. तसं  म्हटलं तर अमेरिकेत ही स्थिति खूप पूर्वीपासूनच आहे. भारतात असा अनुभव फार लोकाना येत नसे म्हणून स्थिति इतकी गंभीर न्हवती, हाच काय तो फरक. मी लार्सेन एंड टुब्रो कंपनीत काम करत होतो त्यानंतर काही वर्षातच माझ्याच डिपार्टमेन्ट मध्ये खूप लोकाना हाकलण्यात आले, हे माझ्या बघण्यात आहे. माझ्या नशीबाने फार पूर्वीच सावध करण्यात आले होते, म्हणून मी वाचलो.

Today is October 28th. It is a memorable day in my life as I started my first job on this day. I still remember that day very vividly.
